Tobacco Taxes and "ED"

I ponder the Tax Tobacco out of Existence actions of our "elected but paid for by lobbyists officials." But for tobacco, this country would still be a backwater colony of England, and, my, they have done well since 1776. At least German isn't the National language.

The attention paid to tobacco is interesting if the focus is health. I don’t watch television much but nearly 75% of the commercials are for heart medications or else the newly created disease, “erectile dysfunction.” Neither of which is directly related to pipe smoking. Unfortunately, the pharmaceuticals have not yet to invent the “common sense dysfunction” pill – I can’t wait…..

Let us tax high sugar and fat content food, chemical preservatives and other proven carcinogen related items that affect our health much more than pipe tobacco. Alas, there is no pill for to help us with that endeavor. A better source of revenue would be to tax political contributions 775% percent. Hmmm, now that is an idea.

Smoke and enjoy, ponder the activists activities and take comfort in the fact that their blood pressure is probably much higher than yours and after they “take the pill”, they will need a liver transplant and then more pills to deal with the usual organ rejection. Meanwhile, you will be enjoying the comfort your pipe provides, no matter what the tax is because you will also be enjoying the high returns on your Pharma investments! Smoke and enjoy.
